I wake up early after a poor night of sleep despite the plan to sleep in a bit longer today as my only task is to make my way from Siena to Florence to catch a flight home tomorrow. I take the early wake up as a chance to journal before I head downstairs at 7:30 a.m. for a cappuccino and pistachio brioche.

After coffee, I walk around and enjoy a bit of sightseeing before going back to the apartment to pack and male my way to the bus that will take me to Florence.

My trip to Florence is uneventful and I arrive just after noon in time to grab lunch before I check into my hotel.

I spend the afternoon taking in the beauty of Florence.
